Brassica oleracea (Acephala group)
Heirloom.
This kale is dark green, with heavily savoyed (bumpy). Tuscan origins. Excellent cooked with potatoes and garlic (try it mashed). Add a little to a batch of sauerkraut. Also makes great kale chips. Chopped finely, it makes a healthy addition to many recipes.
Sold in pack of four, four plants per pack.
