Heirloom salad onions
Harvest as scallions or small onion size.
Burgundy outer wrapper and white interior flesh. Flavorful, not strong. These onions hold well, harvest as needed throughout the season.
60-65 days to harvest. Full sun.
Sold in clumps of around four seedlings or more per cell (4 cells per pack). Plant individually or plant in clumps of six or less, spaced about 6 inches apart. Thin and consume throughout the growing season as they mature. Thin gradually until plants are two inches apart.
Onions take up little space, so can be planted among other plants such as lettuce or radish.
